I think IV is a great critic, but this seems like a special kind of bias. I've never read any movie reviews on this site quite like his reviews of this and The Immigrant, frankly it kind of reminds me of Pitchfork's review of Kid A. Maybe a lot of this could have been saved for a For Our Consideration?
For reference: I

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I need some adrenaline pumped into this season. The closest thing we had was the lab tech, and that wasn't that close to the type of suspense this show is capable.
I hope I'm not being simple minded, but there are stretched here that are, frankly, boring. I mean, come on Oleg

The fact the Henry and Tuan kinda look alike can't be a coincidence, right? I first noticed it last week, but was reaffirmed this week.

It would be cool if Boyle came back to earth, y'know?

Dan Stevens is clearly working very hard to have an all-over-the-place career, and I respect that.

The element that really pushed him to being the best villain in any superhero show that I've seen is time. Bennett's performance is fantastic and the writing of his arc was very solid, but having him on the show for almost a complete season (mid season 1-mid season 2) before he even "turned bad" did wonders for his

Yeah I agree about them definitely turning it around when the characters were introduced. Jane especially seemed very game with pushing the characters forward

I find it far too easy to picture Baldwin having a "fuck it, we'll do it live" style meltdown behind the scenes of this show

Watched the pilot for Shrink on Seeso, cause it was free on youtube, and I was surprised at how much I liked it. Has anyone seen the whole season, and is that and Bajillion enough to make getting seeso for a month worth it?

Well, I hadn't seen it and I liked it, and I don't feel manipulated, so I guess different people like different things. Better luck next week, maybe you'll like what they recommend better.

Prediction: it will need more reverb

I will be furious if they actually killed her off, but I doubt they'd actually go through with that

I think a lot of people, probably including me, would say Jesse, bitch

Schreiber? Really? What little I know of him, he seemed to be an alright dude

Hope Solo is a goaltender (and seemingly terrible person), so she doesn't do much kicking, if that's the joke here

This is a great show and I'm excited for it! This is a great time for British imports on streaming services with this, Fleabag, Chewing Gum, and others I'm sure I'm missing.

They aren't assuming they will get an award. To even be considered for an Emmy, you have to submit for a specific award, so therein lies the issue.

Wasn't he going to culinary school? Either way, I don't think it was set up as a permanent move.

This episode was fantastic, but I need some of my baser Americans needs met. I feel like it's been too long since there's been a well-soundtracked, truly intense and heart pounding spy work scene. The hole digging and lab scenes have come closest this season, but they haven't quite reached the heights we know this

And April and Andy
