Well, I hope we hear something straight from the editors soon, cause this week has been a straight-up massacre, and I think loyal readers deserve to get an idea of what's going on.

No offense to the other writers, but Latoya really has to be the best of the bunch round here, so it's a real fucking bummer to see her shows getting axed left and right.
So, thanks Latoya, and hopefully see you in the fall for Brooklyn Nine-Nine (or is that wishful thinking?)

Fuck, my prediction on the last review is already wrong. I assumed you'd come back next week to finish out the half season. You're really letting me down, av club.
Heynongman forever!

If I were a betting man, I would say that the decision has already been made and that next week's reviews will be the last. If Adventure Time and Blackish can't survive the slaughter, I can't imagine this will. That is unless I'm underestimating the readership for this show.

CC and my cable company don't get along :(

This discussion is really hurtful, and I'd like you all to apologize

I haven't watched this season yet cause Comedy Central on demand delays a week, but I wanted to say it's bullshit that these reviews are ending. In season 4, when people start noticing that every funny person is in this, the AV club will hopefully regret having stopped the reviews.
Hey, at least this will free up some

the funniest part of the episode was Richard telling Monica about the active users problem, and her realizing immediately that Jared already knew. The cut to him, and Jared's wordless worry was so funny.

mothercunt is great, and I'm going to start using it

In the context of the interview, it was funny and not dickish. If you're not familiar with the podcast, the hosts are funny assholes who essentially parody hyper-masculine sports bros, and in the interview, Buck seemed really down-to-earth and willing to joke around with them.

I know Barstool can be a dumpster fire, but Pardon My Take does a surprisingly good job of walkingthe line between satire and legitimate sports talk. Their interview with Joe Buck last week was pretty hilarious and really challenged my hatred of Buck. Joe said it best about his haters: when it comes down to it, he's

How quickly the Vale wiped out the Boltons made it more Minas Tirith than Helm's Deep. God, I need to watch those movies again now.

"I just wanted to play video games and record podcasts all day" is a prett great wink to real life. It's still crazy that Scott finds time to do all these episodes AND record a weekly podcast.
Also, I wasn't a big fan of Schoolboy Q on the show, so I thought T-Pain was more in line with A$AP Rocky

When was Chelsea's last ep of the podcast? Cause I thought that was F&P 4

Dom, a band from my hometown, released 2 EPs, and a couple b-sides and singles before imploding. They got some love from Pitchfork, so maybe their memory lives a little bit more than I think, but their Girls-like combination of indie rock and sunburnt pop/surf rock hit a sweet spot for me, and I still return to their

Props to the CBB casting department. It's great when they do certain bits like Teenage Werewolf, or Reality House, or the teen drama written by old Jewish guys, and they cast people who are known for those types of roles. As much as I like a lot of the alt-comedians who show up here, I like seeing the people who

Guys, Talkie Walkie is a really good album with a really bad name, and the use of "Run" on Veronica Mars is one of my favorite uses of music on tv. Ok, bye.

The show is obviously still really good, but I think this was the weakest season for me. I think, mainly, it was just missing a truly heart-stopping, suspenseful sequence. A few came close, but none broke on to that other level that I know the show is capable of. Maybe the perfection of the end of last year's Walter

Dylan Baker was the season MVP for me. Hopefully he's got enough character actor name recognition to get him nominated for an Emmy.

As with past news wires about him, commenters here are oddly critical of Simmons' looks. He has a podcast, so, even though I don't have an issue with it, I get being critical of his voice, but he's just a normal-looking middle age dude, so I do not get the shitting on his looks.
