You're right, I worded it as if to say everything after blood and sand, which as far as I remember Gods of the Arena was fine. Although I believe Gods was considered a mini series and not the second season.
I was specifically talking about Vengeance which is where I got bored. Glaber was never a particularly

Care to elaborate? Specifically regarding vengeance as I didn't watch war of the damned.

"You know, it's irony on a base level, but I like it."

Relatively speaking to the seasons which came after? Yes.

I pretty much agree with this. I'm simply in no rush to get to the end, nor have I ever felt (as some seem to) that he wouldn't finish it. There's just too much great stuff out there to read/watch/listen/do for me to grow impatient awaiting ASOIAF.

Time will tell, but I see an awful lot of attacking his story for reasons that have nothing to do with it. Instead people dislike his time frame and siphon that dislike via some internal justification mechanism.

Are you arguing said contenders death didn't make sense?
By your logic any use of magic/sorcery is "a wizard did it". There's a distinction between magic playing a role and magic being used as an easy out to a structural problem.

I believe he's already said he outlined the broad strokes to the showrunners awhile ago.

Facetiousness aside, journey>destination.

I hope you put absolutely no thought into that.

Stormlight Archive.

He decided not to age the characters forward and fill in events through flashbacks, that doesn't seem like "bs".
The reason people pay the attention they do to the series is because of how meticulously crafted it is. "A wizard did it" as the solution would be far worse than his current lack of punctuality.

I thought the reason the series started to feel "stretched" was because he finished writing about the war of the 5 kings/meereenese knot.

Really? Are people finishing books these days? Endings almost always suck. The idea that people are clamoring to know how it ends is puzzling to me. It's going to end pretty much the way you'd expect. Who's excited for that? I'd rather enjoy more twists and turns of the plot and character dialogue.

Pretty sure he's already addressed that saying something along the lines of "if I die it dies with me" to which I say "hear hear!"

He does say dumb shit all the time(Dan Auerbach), his WTF was good though.

The empty toque isn't on White's level. Also, 'High Ball Stepper'.
