FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO FORCE UNDERAGE CHARACTERS TO PAIR WITH ADULTS, EVEN WHEN THE SHOW TELLS YOU THAT IS GROSS AND DUMB.

Yeah, that was some lazy use of autocorrect on my part. I AM EMBARRASSED NOW, FOR FORM RATHER THAN CONTENT.

Except that this isn't subtext, this is TEXT. A character who is 14 and who is portrayed within the show as having the emotional and physical maturity commiserate with his age is realising that there are reasonable barriers to a relationship with an adult. That isn't a sign of immaturity. The reviewer completely

If you think growing up is a 14 year old having a romantic relationship with an 18 year old, than you are a fucked up person. What the fuck is wrong with you? FEEL BAD ABOUT YOURSELF FOR WHAT YOU HAVE THOUGHTLESSLY WRITTEN.

amalgamate, why are you taking such a insipidly condescending tone with me? Do you want to engage in some sort of discussion but feel kind of intimidated by the brash language I used so you feel like you need to try and construct an inane and facile structure where you can feign a maturity that you aren't actually

Well, we'll have to agree that you're wrong. Even the more predictable lurches of tragedy, like the death of Wolvington's fiancee, still had a great deal of emotional impact for the correct-watching viewer.

You are so astoundingly bad at watching this show. The delight comes in the continuous wrenching of the knife and the heights of emotional suffering of the characters. It is overwrought and melodramatic and those are features, not bugs.
