In Soviet Russia, fuck yea says "you"

It's certainly your choice, but I won't say it's a wise one. ;-)

They won't even be likely to have seats stolen because of the way they're built. DC had virtually no problems and many of their stations are in what you might call up-and-coming neighborhoods. ;-)

Well, I hate anyone who is dumb enough to drive for any reason other than absolute necessity in NYC when there are so many other safer and environmentally friendly alternatives that don't cause congestion and fatal crashes. We desperately need a congestion tax.

Never had any vandalism of them in DC. Paris is the only place that has had significant reports of vandalism and it's likely a lot of that was exaggerated to secure funding.

This is awesome. I've used Capital BikeShare in DC which is run by the same company and absolutely love it. They're very easy to operate and practically indestructible.

LOL, I was thinking along similar lines - I'm just waiting to see the hipsters start wearing these around Williamsburg and Bushwick. Black horn-rimmed glasses and ironic attitude not included. ;-)

Why not? That's INCREDIBLY lame.

Bingo - that was my first though, too.

You'd have to be even more of an Apple fanboy than usual to go to all that trouble - and it'd make you the most obvious Apple snob in the room (not that there's anything wrong with that...). LOL

You didn't miss anything in the article, but these have been around for a while and there's a ton of information about them online. All it is is a monitor combined with Wacom pen tablet tech. You could probably even use it with Linux if you knew how to make a driver for it (it's possible someone already has). ;-)

I wonder if someone could make a Bluetooth pressure sensitive pen that combines the location from the capacitive tip/touchscreen with the pressure from the pen to give you the same effect. Seems like it ought to be possible.

I'd kill for one of these. I've wanted one ever since the very first one came out exactly ten years ago. Sadly, at that price range, it'll be another ten years before I can actually afford one. :-(

Fired? I'd expect him to be captaining nothing more than a desk for the rest of his career, but I've got to ask what was a fishing boat doing approaching a naval vessel? Surely he tried to make radio contact with the boat in question before firing? If so, and they failed to respond, I think kicking him out of the

I have a coworker who got stiffed with a pizza bill by Stallman once. LOL

He coulda got a lot of clams for those clams! *rimshit*

The neat thing about that picture is that even with that poor resolution, I can easily make out the two square block Maria Hernandez Park near my apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. :-)

Hey, look, there's a giant vibrator in this one:

Google's automatic translation of that Japanese blog post is as funny as the original subject. They really need to improve their translation engine. LOL

Hey, at least the CVAC Pod would make a great scifi prop.
