Wouldn't it be 180 degrees? 360 would also include behind you which isn't possible unless you turn around, take another pic, and stitch the two together. #corrections

That'd work great until you toast the bar and the damned thing collapses on you. ;-)

You know, if we had a proper fucking health care system in this country...

It's always 4:20 somewhere. ;-)

Good. I'll never understand why so many idiots try to drive in the city anyway. Most of them drive like assholes, too (though that's decidedly worse in Bushwick).

I wholeheartedly support him on that. Too bad Albany doesn't. When will people learn that roads are nearly 100% subsidized and stop bitching about government trying to subsidize even a small percentage of much more efficient transit? #fail

Yeah, but see that building in the background on the right with the spire? That's at 5th and 42nd (BofA building). ;-)

They tried to do London-style congestion pricing, but fucking Albany blocked it. :-(

I'd rather they put this kind of energy into syncing the lights for pedestrians. I'm tired of getting stuck at every other light the whole way down 8th Ave from Hell's Kitchen to the Village. Who drives in the city anyway?

Ah, OK, AT&T does charge, IIRC. I know for a fact T-Mobile did when I was with them.

This is the problem with a lot of art schools. People come out with such a rigid definition of art and technique that they lose their creativity. The world doesn't need more art critics, it needs more artists. #fail.

I love how Myrtle Ave in Bushwick is just a big red line in both directions on that map. Sounds about accurate from all the times I've walked down that road (basically daily). ;-)

I went once and hated it exactly because it is so sprawling. I'm much more a fan of dense walkable cities like NYC (hence why I moved there two months ago). IMO, LA is a prime example of atrocious post-WWII urban planning. That said there are some neat things there and I did kind of like West Hollywood. :-)

I fell asleep on the F train last Friday - ended up all the way out at Brighton Beach minus my iPhone. Cost me $800 to replace it. :-(

If you go somewhere Verizon doesn't have coverage, you'll end up roaming, and you'll definitely have roaming charges (since you've no longer on their network but connecting through a third party). That's true of any carrier, actually.

FWIW, I dated a Vietnamese guy for three and a half years. He had been evacuated from Saigon a the age of 13 (his father was a south Vietnamese air force pilot). I can tell you this - I ended that relationship myself, but I do miss him dearly. He was one of the most intelligent and creative people I've ever know.

That fourth one's gotta be Grindr. ;-)

Don't dis federally funded projects out of hand. Some of them work out well; it all depends on how well they are overseen and by whom.

I'm currently wearing this one:

Sorry, but that was a #fail. The pyramid in the book should not be lighter than the lightest part of the background., It looks like the book is glowing. :-/
