@kaffenated: I lived in the south for a time, and some people genuinely were very nice, but there was an undercurrent of ugliness I witnessed all to often among some others. Think "Well, bless your heart" doesn't mean fuck you? At least in NYC, they come right out and tell you you screwed up. ;-)

@kaffenated: ever been to the Village Vanguard? Fat Cat Billiards is also a lot of fun but I most often hang out at Boots & Saddle across the street or the Monster. ;-)

@TendoMentis: I've been there 8 times just since I broke up with my ex in June. Going back tonight. Every time I go it gets harder to come back to DC. Going to try to move there in the spring. ;-)

@Kilgore: pretty close to the title of a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode: "Who Watches the Watchers?" Good episode too, BTW.

@Sergio Gaxiola Velazquez: let's see you face off against him one on one and see how you'd do. The guy taught constitutional law, ran a grassroots GOTV organization, ran the tightest ship in the history of modern presidential politics (even Bill Clinton didn't run a campaign like that!), writes most of his own

@teampunkass: I'm from Chicago, live in DC, trying to move to NYC, and no, I wouldn't be caught dead in them either.

@harmagedom: I'd agree with you on the death penalty but for one problem - people get convicted all the time for crimes they didn't commit. I wish there was a better solution but I have no idea where to even start. :-(

@phijef: Oooooh, I'm so sorry for you. :-(

What if you didn't check anything like I never do? You wouldn't get your gift?

I use Wyse PocketCloud which works quite nicely with Windows Remote Desktop.

Too bad these damned things never work. :-(

@knwldg: process separation is not yet in a stable version of Firefox and it's not in IE8 either.

@Wartooth: Except back in System 7, it wasn't terribly useful because the whole damn OS usually froze. I swear I could walk into my high school computer lab back in the day, give one of the machines a dirty look and three or four of them would freeze. System 7 _SUCKED_.

So now you can't say "I wish I knew how to quit you" to that app you love to hate. ;-)

@RenRen: I was thinking more like 100 proof vodka with soda and a splash of cranberry juice.

How were the servers actually compromised? As this is a tech site, I think the technological details of the exploit(s) would be of great interest to some here (including myself).

@Turbo60640: LOL, me too, I've seen plenty better ones than that...

What's the music at the beginning of the second video?
