Unless you consistently ‘work’ 3600 seconds per hour you should be able to understand why making someone do more work than typical, while not requiring them to stay extra time, is still dickish. People like having free time while on the clock, in fact I do everything in my power to minimize the time I spend at work

The IP has no bearing on who actually becomes a show’s biggest draw, leading to salary and credit renegotiations all the time. Henry Winkler wasn’t supposed to be the star of Happy Days, but that’s what happened. And IP doesn’t require one to slavishly follow the original model, only demonstrate tangible connected

Play was suspended for the rest of the day due to a making it rain delay

#TeamNoOne

Says more that their co-stars are staying silent on this though it seems they’ve quit the show anyway.

They traded for Ricky Rubio, which suggests that they let Hill walk. The saltiness about Heyward I understand, but I’m not sure they wanted Hill, especially at market price.

I love “#betrayward” so much. lol

I don’t get how adults get all worked up over sports. When I was in high school and college I was much more invested but now that I have 2 kids and all sorts of responsibility....I can barely function without coffee and alcohol most days. I also barely have enough time to watch more then a game here or there based

Christ, Monson is the worst.

All of this, from the first video in which someone says “enjoy being Lebron’s little B word”, to the giddy excitement over fire, to columnists writing “players expect fans and franchises to give them darn near everything they’ve got”, is so very Book of Mormon lol

Holy shit. That SB Nation piece is mesmerizing. He went Full Eichenwald.

The wackiest part of that insane editor’s note is him implying that the Jazz wear blue. My man, that is purple, you know the color of Tinky Winky from the Teletubbies

Fenway, Schmenway.

Sports fans remind me why I hate to go to games.

I love the fan feeling of “betrayal”. “we drafted him, and now that the team doesn’t totally have full control over his contract, he left...therefore he betrayed us”. Sports fans are so damn entitled. They’d all be in favor of getting rid of free agency, they want to go back to teams “owning” players for their entire

I’m convinced that sports fans and gamers are the most immature people on the planet.

The lesson here is if you get rid of George Hill, you’re going to lose your small forward who was a 2010 lottery pick.

who would have guessed there’d be so much homophobia in Utah?

Oh man I friggin love the next level Gay Friend Excuse this guy employed. “I once got paid to be in the vicinity of gay people so I can’t possibly be homophobic.” Oh yeah, that’s the good stuff right there!
