Ok, but, there hasn’t been a fatality in the top 3 NASCAR series since 2001, while there have been 4 in Indycar. Knock on wood, NASCAR has an excellent track record since Dale’s death. This is by far the safest stock car racing has ever been.

Correct, but the Lap 20 wreck certainly did. You get a bunch of kids racing around Daytona with 20 laps of race experience, stupid stuff happens.
