The Legacy Gout #nomorenongoutymutants

I assume the mutants are off to the side in each picture, just out of frame.

I loved the first five. Slogged through the middle. They finally got decent again right at the end.

“Wheel of Time” by Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson. The series probably needed to be about 6 books shorter. There were whole books- long books- where it felt like NOTHING happened.

Came down here to comment just to say Blade Runner. Glad to see it was already taken care of.

I am both:

Oh, kids love Cars in general. They love Cars, Cars 2, Planes, etc. and they buy the shit out of the merch (which is why we will be seeing Cars sequels for all of time)

I haven’t seen Zootopia, but my feeling is that creatively, Disney buying Pixar was very good for Disney Animation and a little more of a mixed bag for Pixar.

It can be two contests.

Old school Mr. Mind.

I do think it’s important to think about the individual writer’s interpretation of Superman as a character. Like, we as readers have different thoughts and opinions on who Superman is and what makes him tick and so do writers. Some believe that if left with no choice, Superman would in fact kill while others believe

That was a bit. I was trying to tell a joke and have some fun. I get your point: Superman has killed in the comics.

On that second one: I’m not sure anything that happened in the 90s actually counts.

I read interviews like this, and I think Snyder doesn’t really want to make a Superman movie. He wants to make... an Apollo movie or a Hyperion movie or one of those other Superman pastiche characters that explores the idea of “what if Superman was sort of a terrible or just less than great person?”

Finally I can scream “And I’ll form the head!” in public again without people laughing at me.

I always thought it was a visually stunning movie without a ton of depth. It’s also much less visually stunning on a TV than it was on IMAX.

This is a very, very good point.
