As a fellow Rockies fan (by choice as I was a Royals fan before ‘93), I agree with everything you have here. I just hope they start playing good ball before they’re mathematically eliminated the week after the ASG.

Have you been to J Wells in Boulder and had his Chocolate Milk Stout or the Lig ts Out Stout? Both are tremendous offerings by a guy who makes excellent stuff.

Agreed. Pickard is vastly superior in net.

I have several pairs of the Head Digital gloves and I love them all. They work great with my phone, my iPod, and my GPS. Plus, they're super warm without the bulk of other gloves.

I get your point. I don't like it, but I get it.

Not the same thing, in my mind. My whole thought process was about a guy restricting his date's/girlfriends'/wife's movements by "trapping" her on the inside of the booth. Opening a door for someone is polite because it allows them to take their liberty of movement before you have your opportunity. Essentially sealing

Is it ever acceptable for two people to sit on the same side with each other in a booth or similar table setting? I witnessed this recently and think it is absolutely stupid.

As a Rockies fan, I get the same feeling. Here's hoping they don't shit the bed like my Rox did. This Royals team is fun to watch.

I'm the last person in the world who actually likes Rick Reilly and I think his omission from this list is appalling.

He's not that bad in print. It's in front of a camera with a live mic where he becomes unbearable.

He'll smoke it.

In her defense, the Rockies did win last night, making them 50-76. Seeing a Rockies win—in person, no less—is like the spotting of a white rhino.

Hey Zach! How about an underwater sound, not just waves or streams. Just an idea. Thanks!

When someone announces there's food in the office, I like to stay in my seat for just an extra beat, to play it cool, like the news hasn't affected me, when in fact my whole world has been rocked. Then I get all casual-like, maybe checking the printer, and then I'm all over that shit.
