Correction - someone elsewhere pointed out that it was Joffrey that gave it to Sansa. In season 1, episode 6.

I hadn’t even thought of Littlefinger, and I feel stupid for it. Turning up the tension between the Lannisters and Martells is a chaotic move, and chaos is a ladder. That’s another very interesting candidate. Hmmmmm...

Or she put it there in the first place.

If Sansa is replacing Jeyne Pool, then Brienne could well replace the Hooded Man of Winterfell, or play Theon’s role in the Jeyne story. There are lots of possibilities.

A vital point to remember — despite what Cersei says, there weren’t just two of these. There were at least three. Sansa had one after she married Tyrion.

I lose track of what’s show and what’s book, but in one or both, Dany explained that the entire reason she stopped her military campaign across the East to hang out in Mereen for so long is because she thinks she needs to learn how to rule before she’ll be of any use as ruler of Westeros.

“At the same time, an allied victory at the Dardanelles would secure Egypt and the Suez canal”

I hope it's ok if I'm just a bit disappointed. :p

Was this part of a film, or do you just know a hell of a story?

Right here in Washington, DC, just this month, advertisements have started popping up on signs in our Metro stations and on billboards around town about this issue.

one minor point of contention —

My father was in banking for 40-some years. He told, and heard, a lot of robbery stories. But his favorite was always a brilliant, non-violent method, for which the police never even had a suspect. It supposedly occurred in the deep south in the late '70's.

So Regina George and Colin Farrell have matching haircuts in this? I will find that distracting.

I seem to recall an earlier instance when he was sent to take someone out, and "made a different call."

Created just for the film, no less. Aston Martin doesn't build anything called the DB10, but they created it just for the film, and supposedly will build 10 to sell to collectors for some ungodly price.

"Master" is still an honorific for young men in formal society, and in some documentation. That's not an unusual usage.

Sorry for the double-post, all. Kinja told me neither of these went through.

please do correct me if I'm wrong, since you're likely to know better than I do. My former college roommate is a police officer in a relatively small city that hosts a college. The college has its own actual police force. But he tells me the town cops and the school cops have a cross-jurisdictional agreement that
