If the "doing something" part translates into "more transparency for citizens about what both the CIA and the current administration are doing behind the scenes," that's win-win for everybody IMO.

Might be a good idea though.

Kudos for not going with the more obvious penis-related Kindergarten Cop quote.

Agreed.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as Doctor Octopus. The pudgy geek of an evil scientist.

I dunno, Speed might have the bigger impact for the "pop quiz, hot shot" line alone. True Lies was definitely a big goofy deal, but I think "Speed" was a much bigger cultural moment, for better or worse (considering I'm not a big Sanda Bullock fan, mostly worse).

Can't agree enough re: Drunken Master II. Goddamn it, that movie is just incredible. The finale is great, but the fight out on the street about halfway through? Insanely good.

See you in hell! *door slam*

I can't be held responsible for liking alt-rock. We were merely freshman when the music came out.

I read that as "fart pillows."

I'm all for cultural relativity, but I'm not really sure I can fault an American series produced and distributed by an American company for talking about issues pertinent to Americans.

"Easy D!" - Donald Trump's movie review

I haven't seen any of Landis' movies, as far as I know, because they always seem like something I'd not enjoy. But I would much rather take the chance and not enjoy this, than be guaranteed to not enjoy whatever Spider-Man knock-off we're getting.

"I need help, but I've been raised in a culture that insists that if I just work harder I am guaranteed to succeed, so I'm convinced that my lack of success is solely because there are forces actively working against me - namely, the people who actively admit that they do need or deserve help - and once those forces

The left hasn't been great about letting those who are confused and unhappy about those cultural changes catch up to the times. Gay marriage was an absurd pipe dream when I was young, and now it's national law. It's no real wonder that people who had misgivings about that (whatever their motive) are now a little

But wait, is that "Bart buys the school" plot real? Because it sounds like it could totally be real.
