I generally feel the same way about the rush to make fairly-current events into movies, but they could always end up with another "The Social Network".

I thought I heard that Wolf of Wall Street was the bad Wolf of Wall Street.
Boy, you really got tangled up and blew it.
If so, they really can't exterminate us fast enough for my liking.
Woah there fella, take it easy. No one asserted anywhere that the Left doesn't like handsome, square-jawed men. (I mean, we might be godless liberal communist illegal immigrant Muslim atheist traitors, but we're still only human.)
Yeah, the morons trying to draw an anti-Romney connection between Bane and Bain Capital were ignoring a few things. First and foremost, the spelling and definition of the word "bane." Hardly Nolan or DC's fault that Romney's company name has a very negative homophone.
I admit, I definitely get a bee in my bonnet about rudeness.
I'm still wondering why they apparently haven't even put thought to a Nick Fury movie yet.
Might've been a good move to start with an apology, then. As is, it's right in line with her "oh I can't be bothered to give a shit about that" routine, which has gotten her some bad press in the past.
… but it's okay if the entire Sony corporation is also murdered, right? Like, hypothetically, if someone already did that, it'd still be cool?
You mean, she beats you, and then tells everyone about it?
"Not everything has to be an enormous deal, you know? Not everything needs to be a high stakes game of moral brinkmanship."
"This reveal also means this installment will be first in the series to not have the word “fast” in the title."
Nah, I don't think it was that either. I just think it was rude to disregard a simple request - a request that she clearly understood, according to her own telling of the story.
I am not moved to tears about the plight of a Hawaiian butt rock. But I can't comprehend her determination to do exactly what she was asked not to do.
Anybody remember when Married With Children and The Simpsons were enough to make Fox the edgy network?
She's just disrespecting a symbol. It's not like she burned a flag or something.
I don't think you have to burn your ACLU membership card or anything like that. She did something dumb and some people were mad on Twitter - it's not like condemning her is a talking point in the Democratic National Convention's platform.
It is? Damn, those Hawaiian curses are no joke!
The worst thing I could probably say about most Trump supporters is that they're more self-interested than anything, and not particularly included to make sacrifices on others' behalf. And that's hardly the kind of group that will turn down a new Star Wars movie.
