For sure. I agree that Blitzer is one of the several inexplicably prominent news men, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's far more suited to being a talking head and interacting with election day holograms than to actual hands-on reporting.

In fairness: an anchor is not a reporter.

Eh, I think they've cried wolf too many times on the emails. Anybody who could have been convinced by some nebulous email scandal at this point is already convinced.

Totally. Like, I'm a fairly pop-culture literate fella, and I'm aware of some of the causes Bono champions, but I had no idea that feminism was one of them.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh yes okay, men can do more, men need to be involved to fix the patriarchy, yes. Absolutely. But FFS, this absolutely comes across like Glamour saw both the UN's naming Wonder Woman as ambassador and the Nobel people trying to prize Bob Dylan, and said "Oh we absolutely want a piece of that

I was fully prepared to hate "World War Z." I had every reason to hate it - nothing like the book, and boy, did those trailers look bad. But they really must have pulled it together in reshoots, because the movie is actually pretty damn decent.

From what I recall, he's a pretty cool guy who saves souls and doesn't afraid of anything.

Judging by some of the things he says/writes, I wouldn't be surprised to find he's suffered a few too many blows to the head.

Eh. I dunno. I think he's more of a Mugger #2, with no spoken lines. Or maybe even Homeless Man To Whom Bruce Wayne Gives His Coat.

Bram Stoker was certainly guilty of the whole "put ladies on an untouchable pure pedestal" thing in "Dracula." However … every time a woman is ignored or dismissed by the men, or an attempt is made to shelter them from the truth that they're just "too weak" to handle, things get worse. Every time they actually listen

Amanda Waller: "He's his own thing."
Rick Flagg: "And the skeletons are … ?"
Amanda Waller: "Part of it."

Careful what you wish for, otherwise Superman will add in a wink and a smile only after he's pushed an old lady down a flight of stairs or something.

Anybody see the movie "Coriolanus" with Ralph Fiennes and Gerard Butler? Butler was actually really good in that. Pretty damn exciting and interesting adaptation of a lesser-known and potentially very dry Shakespeare play.

Knowing Murray's reputation, he caused this confusion on purpose.

Baby Sam Eagle. Full stop.

I hope I'm not alone in thinking Andrew Garfield was actually really well cast and did a fine job in less-than-stellar films.

That's fair, I'm just saying it's gonna be impossible to not get all up in a political discussion now. But I'll look at all of this as dispassionately as I can.
