Realistically the speed of the steering is fine and it’s not so much lag (or in other words, a response delay) as it is the operator is able to move the steering wheel faster than the steering rack can actually move. In a conventional steering system you’ll meet some resistance in the steering wheel that prevents you

As a former Cayman owner, absolutely not. You can’t consider a manufacturer to be the standard of the world if you’re terrified of owning one out of warranty. Porsches break down a lot, and the breakdowns are expensive. Doesn’t matter how great a car is when it’s in the shop.

LOL.

hahahahahahaha...had to read it 2 times to be sure you are not being sarcastic.

Yes, there is a reason. It’s that other car makers distribute their sales over many, many more models than Tesla does. Even among BEVs.

I think their quality control issues alone would disqualify them from being the BEST. Add on their stale, dated 10 year old lineup or the complications they face to actually launching new vehicles like the Cybertruck which they can’t release faster than its reputation is deteriorating or their irrational business

Though the lead paint on earlier models was an issue LOL

The one automaker which (to my knowledge) has never had a safety-related recall.

First time I was laid off (that’s a depressing sentence) was back around 2001 when the dot com bubble burst. Department went into a conference room for our normal weekly meeting. Management was a few minutes late getting there. Turns out they were busy helping facilities put a box in our chairs and taking our

The most common way I’ve seen for lay offs is the issuing of a new org chart.

I had a manager fly from Ontario to Tennessee for what he thought was a routine business trip to the head office, only to have his laptop taken off him and be told to leave the building. They even cancelled his return flight.

‘Cept the guy playing Musk is definitely no Gary Oldman. Plus Zorg has that cool hat.

the more time passes, the more Musk is giving me Jean-Baptiste-Emmanuel Zorg vibes.

At least they got a letter.

The first thing I’m doing when becoming a billionaire is retire and fade into obscurity. I don’t need nor want to control anything, just give me money so I can drive nice cars, work out, and play xbox all day.

Thanks for helping me become a centi-billionaire. You may now resume flipping burgers.

The mention of “permanent work restrictions” and “reasonable accommodation” sounds like this is one involving a workers’ compensation and/or ADA claim, rather than the mass layoffs.

You think that’s slow, you should’ve checked out the basic ‘82 Camaro. It came with an Iron Duke 2.5 liter four with your choice of either a 5-speed manual or (I believe) a 3-speed automatic.

If that many people are slamming into that wall, it’s a sign that something’s wrong with the road design. You need some flashing lights in that tunnel, some actual speed limit signs, something more than what they have now. Drivers aren’t going to always be paying 100% attention, and highway designers need to keep that

This is incredibly poor roadway design. That should be a white speed limit sign, not a yellow sign (which is a suggested speed for curves and is geared towards the biggest, most ungainly vehicle possible).
