It’s not the headline that bothers me as that’s usually not the domain of the article’s author. It’s the fact that he calls it a video camera in the body of the article AND THEN mentions that it takes a Kodak Super-8 film.

This isn’t a video camera, it is a film camera. Just because you kids don’t know what the latter is doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Here’s an actual video camera setup from 1969. It’s pretty primitive, and only records in black and white.

How does a camera that uses film be a video camera? 

Since it uses 8 mm movie film, it is properly called a home movie camera.

Can Subaru Make the Outback  Cool  Small Again?

It’s not supposed to be cool. Cool things are either impractical or gimmicky based on current trends.

I really wanted to like this one, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. It looks thrown together plus the pass thru is pretty much useless, unless crawling over seats and a center console are your thing.

I WANT to NP this, I really, really do. But the price is just too frickin’ high for what you’re getting here. A short wheelbase = crappy driving manners, not helped by those huge wheels/tires.
