Toyota/Lexus seems to have a thing for massive headlight housings
Toyota/Lexus seems to have a thing for massive headlight housings
the difference is the masses actually think the lexus looks “cool”
Whatever Toyota/Lexus is doing right now is 100x worse than what Bangle did at BMW in the 00's. Their entire current range slots right in next to the Aztek and the Edsel in terms of ugliest design language ever.
It’s dangerous to try alone. Take this.
I wonder what it'll be like to change a tail light out....
Every time a concept image comes out like this, everyone at work is like:
Mandatory inspection every 2 years that absolutely will not let any of this slide and the police will come down of you like a ton of bricks if you try to cheat. Once your vehicle is not worth keeping up with that anymore you’ll buy a new one and the old one will get shipped to a RHD part of the world that’s more…
How are the basic tire, brake, and oil change inspections? Lots of worn out bald tires and black oil?
That’s great, now add in a few people, luggage for a day trip to the mountain pass, a couple booster seats for the kids, and what are you left with. Small hatchbacks are great, for some people, CUV’s are great, for some people. This is all I was saying, so many Jalops hate CUV’s but they really are useful/attractive…
So, you like hatchbacks.
+1 Golf
In the quest for 5-star crash ratings and mileage, sedan makers have destroyed visibility with huge pillars and tall trunks. You can’t back up a modern sedan (or CUV) without a camera. The sight-lines were destroyed by tall vehicles that block visibility.
I have trouble understanding the extra space you are referring to. Everytime I look at one it seems tiny. When I look up the numbers, they back up my observations.
CUVs are the perfect cars for people that can’t be bothered with the tedious parts of driving, like being aware of your surroundings and avoiding stuff.
Why do some people have such a hard time understanding why CUV’s are so popular?
Dear Will_I_Am,
The joy of the automobile is in the harmony of form and function—or, in the case of our old pal the Black Eyed Peas’ …
The number of positive reviews people wrote about that car scares me.
Oh god I hated that fucking vehicle. I wanted to like it so bad, the z71 models looked so cool (though the base model fleet ones looked terrible because they rolled on sofa casters).
But then I drove one. The seating position was stupid, you were basically sitting on the floorboard, the pedals were super far away so…
I’m surprised the Chevy Aveo isn’t on here.
Based on what I’ve read in the book and what the author told me, it sounds like it wasn’t so much that IH didn’t know “how” to make their shit not rust, it’s that they didn’t want to spend the money.
