@2 replies: actually the PS3 itself is the server since its serving its video to you over remote play. its basically like remote desktoping your PS3's XMB on our PC.
@Sloopydrew: it only transfers ALL if the PS3 is the same one the backup was made from. The copyrighted game saves seem to be directly tied to the PS3 hardware its made on.
