2 versions of the phone are coming. The first is CDMA and exclusive to Verizon. The 2nd will be unlocked but only for GSM networks so it won’t work on Verizon.

I totally did. I saw “Verizon” “Unlimited Plan” and “$20" and flew into a white hot rage. Thank you for bringing me back from the edge.
This is BUUULLLLSHIT. I’ve been grandfathered on a Verizon unlimited 4g plan since 2009. Started at $90. Currently it’s $120. I’m ok with that. But now it’s going to be $140? Ugh. Too much Verizon. Too much.
I’m pretty sure it’s called “getting old”.
I getcha, I’m just having fun.
Ah, such wisdom.
“Entire life”
1993 World Trade Center Bombing. I was 9 and annoyed that all my shows were being preempted. Then I got a long talk about terrorism.
Snapchat is the one thing that makes me feel old. I think it was designed that way.
At least we had Hale-Bopp.
I don’t trust people that don’t eat Nougat.
We used to have cable channels that for some reason would not display on modern TVs correctly. They’d be fuzzy, stretched, and usually (and this is the worst part) they wouldn’t be centered on the screen. My girlfriend (who has terrible eyesight anyway) would watch these channels that had a 3rd of the picture missing…
You misunderstand me. I’m not defending the tech journalists complaint. Just pointing out that he and people like him (like us) are the only ones who actually care about these products. I think that guy’s complaint is dumb.
Who’s complaining? Tech journalists? It’s their job to care. Also, people who read tech blogs tend to be “enthusiasts”.
No ones talking about VHS. I specifically was talking about the differences between streaming HD video and actual 1080 and 4k content. Most people do not give a shit and don’t distinguish different HD formats.
It’s so tiny that it looks ridiculous in their living room.
Haha, one of my girlfriend’s friends always invite us over to “watch the game” or whatever event happens to be going on. They have this little 28" 720p TV that I wouldn’t have paid 50 cents for. It’s so painful.
Yes, you are an enthusiast. Nothing wrong with that, I am as well. But a majority of the world does not care or even really know about the difference between streaming HD, 1080p Bluray discs and 4k. We are not the majority.
Yeah, I woke up from surgery in more pain than I can accurately recall because mine wasn’t done right.
