That’s probably true. I don’t think it’s worth the premium, but I also currently use a Fujitsu laptop that is a full decade old so I’m clearly not the target consumer for a Macbook.

Eh... if someone is paying that much extra for higher clocked memory, that’s even worse considering the performance gains would be almost nil. Especially when that money would buy a processor upgrade or more storage in a Windows laptop.

If fit and finish is worth that much to someone, they’ll buy what makes them happy. If were’re talking internal hardware, it’s a blowout as to which is the better value.

But then you’re paying a premium for Apple hardware which makes no sense if you only want windows. Boot camp is for people that switch back and forth.

I never noticed those as a highschooler who may or may not have had a canon scanner and totally didn’t experiment with scanning bills.

Maybe it’s because I had a Saturn when all my friends had Playstations, but I never got the appeal of Crash Bandicoot. I played the first game, and it was fun but nothing great. The only good thing to ever come from him were those commercials where he taunts Nintendo.

This was true a few years ago. Now you have the Razer Blade, Dell XPS, Asus ZenBook, Samsung Notebook 9, etc. all with fit an finish equal to or better (or a tiny bit worse) than a MacBook. The track pads vary (and it’s tough to beat Apples), but all of these are cheaper and with better internals.
