He looked like a total badass. The control of his weapon points to adequate training. Glad he’s armed and spraying our highways for justice.
At the time of this event, I was a teenager who had just started following motorsports. There was relatively little coverage of events like this and we often had to wait for monthly magazines to read about them. Imagine waiting six weeks and only getting a short mention of this event in an article shorter than this…
Thanks man! This one was fun to write. It’s always great when you find out some mundane thing has an interesting history and then you get to share it with people.
Dealers are like, “OMG!!! We have 2018s in stock!” Meanwhile, Nissan and Dodge are still peddling 2008 models.
Maybe just building bland cars with massively unhealthy kidney grilles wasn't a good plan

Even a hard bottoming out over a curb or whatnot without crashing has caused a few injuries. I’m sure this issue is being addressed as new tubs are designed or existing cars are modified.

My son has a heart defect and at the grand old age of 2, has had three open heart surgeries and currently has his sternum wired closed. An armor protector like this could help him immensely with pain and sensitivity to his ribs when doing every day activities in the future like school and sports.
The photographer deserves a nod. Exquisite pics.
No, no, the classic aircooled 911 is still the best and I will still fight you for insinuating otherwise.
Wow! Praise from Doug himself? I feel honored!
As usual the real lesson here is; nothing matters, life is meaningless. Let’s move on.
