Thank you. I couldn't remember John Hannah's name, but he was in my mind and I forgot to mention him. I think with very few exceptions the entire cast of Spartacus was terrific, and they had to do their own swordplay and stunts mostly.

I'm just recollecting the things that disturbed me. Obviously, everyone has a different threshold for what upsets them and what they can't look at. I remember several things that bothered me in Dexter that almost turned me off the show.

In a controversial opinion, I'm not sure the acting was significantly better than Spartacus. Considering how they spoke with the unique language that Spartacus created, I might even give it an edge. Thinking about Lucy Lawless, Craig Parker, Simon Merrell and the actor that played Ashur, IMO were absolutely on par

I finally decided that for me, TD, was just a character study. Once I stopped caring about the actual case outcome and focused on McConaghey's performance, I enjoyed it much more. Plus it was visually stunning and showed a part of "Murica that we don't see too often.

I might a bit biased because I live near where it was filmed, so it was fun for me to play they "Hey, I've been there" game with the location shots. But it was such a charming, weird and at times very intense show. RIP Terriers.

I can agree with this although I think the visuals in Dexter were pretty disturbing but nothing as disturbing as in Hannibal.

I've talked to people who refuse to watch Hannibal specifically because they had their fill of serial killers after Dexter. Hannibal is more disturbing for me because of the cinematography and the score keeps the mood in play throughout. It's just plain creepy. It also has some very dark humor. Dexter was warped and

I agree about Spartacus. Maybe because it was a more intimate set and lower budget, but I felt much more connected to the characters in Spartacus than I ever did GoT. Go figure.

Thinking back to s1 and s2 of Dexter, I think it was beautifully shot, Michael C Hall was phenomenal in his role, the voiceovers were meaningful insights into Dexter's warped mind and viewpoint. Obviously the cinematography is different in tone and style. Some of the tableaus in later seasons were as visually

It can't be just Hulu based because Mad Men is on Netflix.

I would say that early Dexter was comparably good as Hannibal in performance and tone if not philosophy of the show, so to speak. But it just all fell apart after the past 2 seasons. Makes me sad because it was amazing for like 5 seasons. And then it just fell apart.

If they are going for craziest fan base how do they leave out Supernatural(of which I am a fan but sometimes the fanbase is out of it's mind) or The Vampire Diaries?

I'll play

I miss that show :(

There is no logic to most of these matchups. Arrow vs B99 is absurd. They are totally different genres and offer totally different things.

Art just seems so disappointed and angry and frustrated with Raylan like a father would be with his sort-of-ne'er-do-well son. It's heartbreaking :(

Because Dewey?

It seems like no one ever went into Kendall's stuff though. That seemed like Daryl violating his privacy such that it is. It was naive for sure, but I don't think Kendall is dumb.

I thought the same thing. I can't imagine how that gets cut and doesn't lose the impact. On another tangent, I"m really looking forward to Fargo.

I think the Crowes would be more entertaining if one of them wasn't played by Rapaport. I just am not feeling him at all in this role. He pales in comparison to Buckley and Harriman.
