I think you would want the success of shows like Arrow to help finance the soapy shows on CW that you like. Also, Arrow has it's soapy moments too.

If you're insinuating that Dean was abusive to Sam when they were growing up I will argue that's never been shown in show and I don't believe it's true. John, might very well, have abused Dean though. But I sure don't think Dean is perpetuating that in the sense of what you are suggesting.

I really liked the Tudors. It wasn't historically accurate but I liked it. Natalie Dormer and Henry Cavill IMO were great. And Jonathan Rhys Meyers got much better over time.
