Actually Yvonne Strahovski makes me almost not want to watch it.

She wears a blonde wig. It's not hard to figure that out.
Well that was a substantive rebuttal.
Me, too
So you're saying you don't approve?
I'm gonna go ahead and disagree 100% with that assessment. Laurel is the only one IMO that has been poorly cast. Susannah Thompson is a goddess and plays Moira to perfection. Willa Holland actually emotes when required even if her character hasn't had much to do. Caity Lotz sells the action and most of the emotion.
Eh. I'm irrationally excited that JackisBack
I use Greasemonkey Disqus Click Automate and that hasn't worked at all since last night. Annoying
I really did think Sara might die. I was shouting 'Fuck you, show. Just fuck you" for the entire sequence after Sara poisoned herself because after they killed off Tommy, I believe they'll kill off anyone but Oliver.
Eh. To me it's all in an alternate universe. It's nothing we want IRL, but in this universe, I just roll with it. Except Laurel being the BC. Nope that is just a bridge too far.
Yes. It worked for me in Firefox and Pale Moon until last night.
I could live with all of that, but Laurel saying "You stole my life" or whatever that line was exactly, undercuts any sympathy or empathy I have for her. It goes straight back to her apparent notions of being 100% entitled to Oliver and that her pain is the only pain that matters.
At this point, I fundamentally disagree with the viewpoint that there is nothing positive for the LGBT community with Sara. I thought the subtext was strong enough that I believe that Sara was in love with Nyssa and vice versa but because of the nutty life of the League of Assassins, Sara wanted to change her life…
All the psychopaths at this point have fucked at least one other psychopath.
I think Lotz sells the angst pretty well if not on par with others in the cast. But she also brings a quality to Sara that feels very organic if maybe not polished acting, if that make sense. That's why I can handle her when she's not as convincing as I would like.
It hurt me. I felt so awful for all of them.
I never said Nyssa wasn't dangerous. You're misrepresenting what I'm saying about Nyssa.
If it was someone other than Oliver with whom she shares a big history you may have more of an argument. But given that they do have that history I think it must be factored into Sara's decision to sleep with Ollie again. She said she was home again. I think that spoke volumes.
I never said Nyssa didn't put Sara's family in danger.
What about Sara as part of that equation as a positive representation?
