It's one of my favorite shows along with SPN, Arrow, Justified and Elementary. You just have to take it for what it is and go along for the ride.

A face-acting off between Olyphant and Ackles would send me into a place that would be inappropriate and I want it to happen badly.

For some reason, I can see him sliding right into Justified.

I agree.

And I'd like to undress them…

I don't know if I concur 100% with your police work there. I think Dean relates to people on a very human level. He says a lot of stupid things and can be basic and crass but I also think he connects with people on a real level. I think Sam is better at being aloof and friendly but I'm not always sure how much he

I would start with the episode in s1 where he was Ben. He showed a really interesting capacity for the dark side.

I remember trying to watch a couple of episodes but Alba was just so dull and IMO badly miscast that I gave up. I only revisited it to see what else Ackles could do. I thought he was great as Alec.

Eh, Dark Angel was okay. I just can't stand Jessica Alba. haven't gotten through to the s2 finale yet, but good grief Ackles IMO saved that show. Logan is terrible and boring. Supposedly, there was an idea to spinoff Alec into his own show, but then it was cancelled and he ended up in Smallville which lead to SPN.

I've been theorizing that since Kevin was murdered because he was played by Gadreel and that the rift between he and Sam is nearly irreparable, that he has nothing to live for, and that he wants to take out Abaddon, Gadreel and die whilst doing it. I think that's why he didn't bother to ask what the Mark of Cain

It will be interesting to see what they do with the subversion of the Cain killing Abel story, as Cain told it in First Born in that he killed Abel to save him from Hell. It's an interesting parallel to s2 when Dean is told by John that if can't save Sam, he'd have to kill him. Maybe that will resurface and the Mark

Is it weird that I expected Dean to shout "Pudding!" ?

I think Dean has a hard time accepting that Sam wouldn't really do the same thing, because Sam did try to get the Dean goes to Hell deal reversed even when Dean told him not to do it and Sam could die himself if he did.

I sure hope that it's to do with the Mark of Cain. Thinking back to "First Born", Cain did say that there would be a high cost and that the mark was for a killer but Dean, as usual, just charged ahead, no questions. I still think Dean is on some kind of suicide mission.

I would get a kick out of seeing Dean do yoga because you know it would be so uncomfortable and contrary to his entire person.

So many great actors that do sci-fi and genre shows get unfairly marginalized IMO by the Emmy crowd (see: Battlestar Galactica, Fringe, etc).

I could be misremembering but I think Jared took up yoga in the past couple of years. l remember reading a comment from Stephen Amell, who practices yoga, that Padalecki, who is his buddy IRL, asked how he stayed in shape and Padalecki couldn't believe it was yoga. But I think he might do it now.

It was pretty funny, because I would joke with my bro-in-law about the "you betcha" and the "doncha know" and he made me a bet that when we went out for dinner there would be a "you betcha" after each item I ordered. Sure enough. We laughed a lot about that.

My sister lived near Minneapolis for like 20 years. I visited there once and yes, pretty much everyone sounded( to a lesser extent) like the sheriff. No joke. So yes, it was heightened for comedic effect but I thought it was pretty apt.

Yup. I was pleased to hear him say that.
