Yes add water (for just herbs, pestos are full of oil and do not need water). I typically pack the ice cube slot full of the herb(s) after chopping them and then pour water in to fill. You have to push the herbs down to keep them from floating. I freeze them and use them all through the Fall/Winter until next Spring…
I've circled you didn't I? :P
I do this all the time for fresh herbs. It's nice because you can make a combo herb cube for say Italian herbs and freeze them to add to soups and vegetables. Leftover stocks and tomato paste are awesome too for having small amounts to add to your cooking.
A downside to the virtual route is sometimes the hardware devices must be released from the host computer before you can use them in the guest OS. Also, you may loose some features that the VM provider doesn't pass through like 3D graphics capabilities or a TV tuner card. That said, with decent hardware in the host…
Video out is not just for recording pay-per-view? Who knew :)
Yeah, noticed that was missing. That's how I had my laptop hooked up to run Boxee on the TV. A lot of laptops have S-Video out ports.
I do on and off. Mostly if I'm interested in the number of clicks. In that case I use [Goo.gl] for that. For the paranoid among you, you can use www.longurlplease.com or any number of add-ons for Firefox and Chrome. Might not be the safest, but at least you can see where they are going before clicking.
I personally use Evernote and Skitch (owned by Evernote). Skitch is great for taking a picture and doing markup and then saving it in Evernote. You can also use it to just draw. It's not as robust as Sketchbook Express, but gets the job done for me.
Seems to me using the grate in my oven would make an weird short taco shell (fatter), especially with a 6' tortilla. I use a taco shell baker made by Chicago Metallic. It does a pretty good job with corn tortillas. It's not exactly the super crunchy ones you can buy pre-made, but they pass for a healthy alternative.…

@Lurking Rhymer It will not do it on DRM protected files. Only non-DRM AACs.
Why do all the posts about Amazon bringing Send-to-Kindle email tout that as being new??? I've had this since day 1 when I got my Kindle a few months ago and it's built-in to Calibre if you use that to manage your eBooks on your Kindle. Am I missing something?
Our users have discovered if you put a stapler on the spacebar of the keyboard that works. Even lower tech :)
I use them occasionally if I know they are legit. It's too easy to slap some handbill on a telephone pole and lure yahoos to your malware.
Be aware that VPNs can be interpreted as a security hole on their network. Easy grounds for dismissal if your company has security standards in place and even if it's for legit reasons without prior approval. They may not be able to see what you are doing on the VPN, but they will know you are on a VPN.

FYI, Backtrack is spun off Ubuntu as well.
Make your own. Go to Google Books and search this term "steven raichlen cuban sandwich". You will get a couple of results. Open the one "Raichlen's indoor! grilling - Page 309" and go for it! Best recipe out there (and the book is worth it if you have a contact grill).
"Cuban" sandwiches are made this way except the bread is buttered before wrapping it up. It's awesome!
