that is true. I think BMW can get a good shifter kit in the older M3 cars.

totally agree! I drove a gated manual Gallardo and was such a joy to drive and row through the gated cue ball metal shifter while grasping the giant sized eight ball! The only other car with such a cool massive eight ball shifter was the older 430/360 Ferraris and the old Mustang GT 500 cars.

Hey we have same issue here in San Diego EXCEPT weather is near perfect most of the year round so owning a Ferrari is better here as a second weekend fun car IF you get up early to drive it when no traffic exists on the open roads. Otherwise San Diego traffic is a parking lot most times.
