@Killjoy: It's an interesting theory but it's not correct. Design needs to be good for customers to trust the company and purchase their products. Granted, there's no design that will ever be impervious to the rigors everyday people put their products through, a great design will entice people to stick with a company

@joshua_erda: Ahh, now I see. I didn't know the Win version wasn't out yet. Yeah, dude, you'll have to wait unless you know someone with a Mac. Sorry.

AGH! Hipster's Paradise!

@joshua_erda: I'm not sure what you're trying to do, exactly, but, with that file you can use any of the hack tools as well as a restore with iTunes (just have to hold shift as you press restore). Maybe I'm missing what's being asked but either of those scenarios will work with that file.

@SeventhExile Speaks: Oh, I know we're the geeks and the conversations make sense here to some degree. But, the majority of users don't care about that argument. That's all.

@RandomNickname: Well, at first, I was just messing with you. I'm not huge on the video calling thing which is why I've never clamored for a front facing camera.

@Scott Capsey: I believe Engadget had the direct download link to the file up the other day. Check the Monday posts, that's where I got it.

@SeventhExile Speaks: I'd love to hear why Backgrounder is "better" than the OS4 option since they essentially do the same thing except one doesn't kill your battery. This whole "Apple didn't give us 'true' multitasking" is such a geek complaint. Seriously. There's a reason the Android phones need a task manager (like

Now playing

@Sean Godos: Dude...you've got to be kidding, right? First of all, if someone tries hard enough, they can connect any instance of wording in the bible, or any other book, to real life events. This is why fortune teller's make money - they're awfully vague and you can connect any single thing to a real life

@kylecpcs: Pretty sure you won the 2009 Player Hater of the Year award. Hate hate hate hate hate

@kylecpcs: I drop calls in exactly three places in Los Angeles - and I've always dropped calls in two of those three with Sprint, T-Mobile, and now AT&T. I'm pretty sure they're ok. Maybe if you actually used AT&T instead of reguritating what your chatroom buddies and the internet trolls spit out, you'd know a bit

@RandomNickname: Man, those grapes must be awfully sour over there.

@Sean Godos: How about because Obama doesn't outright say we need to pray like that dumb fucking country hick does. Or how the state of Louisiana asked for everyone to pray so that a miracle can come along and stop the oil. Worked like a fucking charm, right?

@erichg14: You win. The hysteria here is fairly comical. Most people don't realize how "un-private" their lives really are. But, if it's from big bad Apple and that terrible person Steve Jobs, it's automatically the worse thing EVAR!

Mine took roughly five minutes or so to update and then restore my settings. No biggie here. Took an hour to download the software from the direct link provided.

@matt_mcmhn: dude...you have phone problems, it's not the OS. I've already tried out the iBooks and there's no lag. It displays more than two sentences as well. Think you've got bigger issues with the hardware than the software. My 3GS is running perfectly. As are other folks' in my office.

@trucknuts: Thanks to AT&T once again...they have zero capacity to forecast demand and/or load on their servers or systems. What a bunch of dicks.
