I love (whole) milk, but Pennsylvania charges $4.25 for whole milk. And that’s the private label from Walmart! The price here is a disgrace and turned me off completely from milk in this state. Once I visit family in Chicago and Columbus though, I’ll be drinking milk by the gallon.

I recently moved from Illinois to Pennsylvania, and milk prices went from $0.99-$1.10 to $3.47-$4.XX. I haven’t bought milk since moving August.

I don’t mean to diminish the accomplishment of cracking open an apple. It is a feat of strength, and not everybody can do it.
No because rather than just looking at protein totals or protein per serving, you should look at protein per 100 calories. If the majority of the calories that you’re getting is sugar, your kid’s argument falls flat when you start thinking per 100 Kcal.

The only way to lose weight to to make sure you consume less than the energy you expend (TDEE). Fad diets could work but so could flexible dieting. It’s fine to eat potato chips. It’s also fine to not ever eat potato chips. Just balance the equation.
