Loved him on Justified.
Whoa, there was a Middle Earth MOBA? How was that?
There was an episode of Fringe where two kids were shown discovering something and then the main characters discovered their remains. I was shocked (in a good way! I was thinking, “Can they do that? On TV?”
I’ve been going slow because I’m new to planks, but tomorrow I’m going to do a 2-minute plank and then I plan on doing 5 set of 10-second reps the day after. When that becomes too easy, I’ll aim for the variations.
That’s awesome! I only bring a carry-on suitcase when I fly, myself. Skips waiting in line at the baggage claim and makes leaving/entering the plane much easier.
Counterpoint: Minimalists don’t want your goddamn library! The space! The waste!!!
This is not directed at you, but I see it a lot - getting defensive because someone has different preferences and “stop judging me, man!”
The only time I see this as true are sites that aren’t about minimalism but sometimes talk about it (like Lifehacker, which several writers have gotten wrong many times.) Every minimalist starter guide that actually describes what minimalism is should be about removing excess, not reducing yourself.
I don’t know your friends, but you can be a hobbyist and a minimalist since the latter isn’t about removing stuff. I recently made a post here stating that I’m a sword collector while also trying to get rid of excess and making sure everything I own has purpose.
This. Any NPR interview on minimalism would tell you the same thing.
Adamczyk sounds like she doesn’t understand minimalism, or if she does this article portrays it badly. Consciously buying fewer cheap clothes while extending their use is just as if not even more minimalist than buying fewer expensive clothes.

There’s something ironic about his portrayal in Marseille, too. I figured Netflix was able to get him because he isn’t a French citizen anymore, but this is weird.
To be fair, Japan loves Hawaii too. And Americans. And me.
I’m actually going to do this. I know I should’ve started with these monthly challenges sooner, but I gotta start some time.
Someone probably already posted this but...
Alright people, as an 1st generation American, what does this even mean?
If this mob wanted to be productive, they should be opening more vegan restaurants. But instead, we get this bullshit.
Why is s/he not in the gray and I am?
