I don't know many TVs that have hard drives already built into them. I think these are the first, which would explain why the technology is "limited" to start. Definitely a cool idea though.

I wonder if the owners are going to demand that ability be part of the new CBA?

Just in time for the "Big Game" (don't want LH getting sued for using a trademarked name... sheesh...) a brand new 46" Sony Bravia 3D ready 240 HZ 1080P TV. It has the built-in WiFi which is awesome. The picture is GORGEOUS. Can't wait for Sunday.

I've been a fan of Flight Track Pro which also has a built in-app purchase of the Flightboard feature. The nice thing with Flight Track is that it interfaces with itineraries sent to TripIt which makes flight tracking convenient.

Happy to see the videographer heeded the "please turn off and stow all electronic devices for the duration of our flight" announcement.

One of the the things that a lot of people fail to do when creating a resume is to tailor it to the position for which they're applying. It's real easy to create a generic "one size fits all" resume, but that isn't going to garner a lot of attention.

I love USAA. Awesome Insurance, investment, and banking services. One downside is that you need to be in the military or a dependent of a military veteran to be able to join. But they deliver.

My Mom had a saying she'd use when dealing with friends and loans: "Neither a borrower or lender be."

Eh, could be worse. It could say it contains ground chihuahua. Now THAT would be a problem.

@wickedcupofjoe: Congrats on the baby. You are the first woman I know though who is actually excited about her own birthday =).

@tallchair: Google Reader is my go to online reader of choice. Lots of great blogs out there. I trust you already have Lifehacker linked =).

Fortunately, technology is prolonging the life of products, but many companies till employ a "planned obsolescence" strategy - meaning that the product will eventually cease to work or be outdated in a defined period of time. That way, there's an opportunity to garner repeat business for their product in a shorter

And I thought my weight gain was because I got married.

I find it interesting that the great state of California (ha ha!) charges a "recycling" fee whenever a large electronic item is purchased - much like the CRV that's charged when purchasing cans/bottles of soda - yet you still have to pay (at most places) when you recycle electronics. I would have figured the recycling

@ripplemobile: Bravo. Already know I made the right decision buying the app.
