@Snafu77: Truecrypt container on Dropbox? Oh do tell how I can set this up.

@sandiegoguy: Replying to my own comment =). Something else I do, which is useful when traveling abroad is to send the PDFs to someone you trust. My wife and I went on vacation out of the country recently, so we gave her Mom the PDFs. If we were robbed, mugged, lost our wallets, etc. One phone call to her and she

I have scanned PDFs of all my cards (front and back) as well as other important documents. If I lose anything, I have all the pertinent information on the ready. Knock on wood, I haven't needed to use these yet.

@e-gadgetjunkie: Good advice. I'm going to see them next week for Thanksgiving at the big family gathering, so better to break the ice, so to speak, now. And yes, it has put a major strain on my relationship with my wife. Really stinks.

Today's my parents' 45th wedding anniversary. Haven't talked to them since September - they haven't called me either. I sent them a card. Should I call them?

Well... it just so happens I have a clogged drain at home. Gonna give this a whirl.

I'm so tired of government trying to tell me how to go about my life.

@jarhead: Apparently you're not afraid of "Road Rage."

And because the masses have been waiting for this glorious day, Apple will probably be charging slightly more than their normal $1.29 per track download. $1.99 anyone?

@tomsomething: By posting my response, I wasn't saying that I agreed or disagreed with the TSA procedures or the behavior of the guy who said "no" to the TSA during his screening.

Guy in San Diego said "no" to TSA wanting to pat him down / run him through the full body scan machine. He's facing a $10,000 fine.

@mike_311: What about accepting PayPal or a Postal Money Order? At least those provide some protection and a paper trail of sorts in case the equipment is bad.A lot of sellers won't even accept those.

Happy Friday all - I've been thinking about buying a "new" used MacBook Pro and was looking at Craigslist. Seem to be some pretty solid deals there.

Since yesterday was Veterans Day, I want to say thank you to all of the current and former members of the armed forces for their service.

@Hasteur: I'm listening to the new Bon Jovi Greatest Hits album.

Since it is writing week here at Lifehacker, it seems that Maczot and Mariner Software want to participate by offering a "Mariner Software Writing Bundle" this weekend. If anyone is interested, take a peek (software goes on sale at 10 p.m. (PST) Friday, 11/12/10.

I've always included a series of #### signs.
