When I first saw the kid's name, I thought I saw "Justin Bieber". After re-reading the name, I saw it was "Justin Butler." Le sigh.

They also have extensions available for Safari and Firefox as well:

@kevipants!: Good to know. I would imagine you would need to keep the receipt, just in case. But who keeps receipts for years?

@Christophe Franco: Costco here in the U.S. usually sells cards for less than face value. $60 iTunes cards for $54.99 for example.

Glad I live in California in terms of the regulations. Seems to make sense to give cash versus a gift card, especially since the laws vary from state to state.

I get inbox zero quite regularly - I've created a folder called "unsorted" and move all my "un-read, un-responded to" messages there.

@thecolor: Agreed. Although, I guess if you have some financial motivation to participate, it might encourage you to do well with your rules. However, I know plenty of people, myself included, who pay a monthly gym membership, only to go to the gym a handful of times, if at all. Paying money doesn't necessarily

I like the idea, though not sure it's worth paying a monthly fee for the privilege of using. And while the sponsorship option sounds novel, I'm not sure I would want to detail my reasons for needing sponsorship to a bunch of complete strangers.

@slater: That's available as an "in-app purchase".

@jft135: Love it. Great idea!

@englishman: Had no idea they made something like that. Great tip.

I've heard that most electronic devices will suck power, even when not in use. They say it's a good idea to unplug anything non-essential when it's not in use. Even toasters use this so-called "ghost" energy. Might be worth thinking about, especially if it adds savings to the energy bill.

Last time I checked, didn't Red Box deliver DVDs for a $1 a day? How is what Apple doing any different?

Happy Friday everyone. Been one of those weeks... my boss leaves our company after 10+ years; we've got five major projects going on that are due in the next week and it doesn't seem as though there's enough time to get them done; now that my boss is gone, my new boss might not let me take a pre-planned and paid for

I participate in weekly activities that force me to leave work by a certain time on certain days of the week. I play softball two nights a week (helps with stress by allowing me to take out my aggression on a poor, defenseless softball) and I'm in a pool league.

@bluehz: I didn't mean the app itself was free, I meant the syncing capability it possesses is free.

@goaliefight: Thanks for the link - makes things a lot clearer.

@jabber: Color me embarrassed... I completely overlooked that in the post.

@goaliefight: I don't know that Sugarsync is "obviously superior". Dropbox does the same thing and offers FREE accounts with free storage. Sugarsync only gives you that ability for 30 days. Am I missing something that makes Sugarsync drastically different than Dropbox?
