I'm a fan of taking a pork roast, putting it in a slow cooker and topping with with a jar of salsa verde. Put it on low for eight hours and when it's ready, you'll have a delicious meat that's perfect for tacos, burritos, or even on top of a salad.

I definitely agree that people need to be more responsible for their money, and balancing the books. My wife NEVER keeps a check register - always goes online and reviews her statements. I'm trying to get her to understand the importance of balancing the books.

I agree with the password part. Too many people use one universal password for all of their accounts. I used to be guilty of this until I started using password managers.

One of the greatest things about being a student (or faculty member) is the fact that you can buy virtually any major software title at a huge discount.

@violent peas: I wanted to be able to see what the cost of their newly completed $7 Million data center would have cost in L.A. using the Expatistan. Too bad the site isn't loading at the moment =/

Another good place to visit for discounted hardware and software is [www.weirdstuff.com] They buy excess inventories which they're tasked with liquidating. Lots of good finds to be had.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but most GPS units offer a "home" command to help the user get back to wherever they call their "home" location.

@se7a7n7: Chase has a card called "blue print" where you can set various goals, etc. You can decide if you want to pay off certain purchase; identify when you want to pay off the card; etc. [www.chase.com]
