I think the amount of effort you’re putting in to silence any legitimate criticism of the Epic Game Store has gotten out of hand, but what are ya gonna do?

Oh look. Another Kotaku article that lists all the things they see as wrong with Valve/Steam yet glosses over anything wrong with Epic or the EGS. No mention at all about how Epic treats their employees as far as “crunch” goes since Fortnite got popular even though Kotaku loves pointing out that issue with every other…
I dont want to pay money and give my information to an unproven unserviced 3rd party. Beyond that I dont want to support epic and pay money to epic. I should be free to choose where I want to buy something same way your free to choose where you shop for groceries it's a grossly simple concept.
maybe this is an unpopular opinion but if this becomes a new thing in MMOs I am all for it. In fact I would sign up for a MMO to experience the world, exploration, looting and story if I could play by myself.
This may get me back into the game. I’ve stopped playing shortly after Heavensward came out, and coming back in I’ve had enough issues easing back into things that I wound up abandoning the game all over again. Especially didn’t want to burden other regulars over it.
Imma let you finish but, nope. Metroidvania is a genre and if you have to explain the word then so be it. At some point you have to explain words to people who are unfamiliar with them, like RPG or any of its derivatives.
The vernacular is established, and will remain until people no longer find it useful. You’re fighting this fight about 15 years too late.
I quit playing before I ever bought the game!
That boss battle went on for too long. I really don’t have the time to spend 15 mins wittling down the first boss. The combat looks like a chore.
“Hey Bob?”
Yesterday evening, fans enjoyed seeing her in the spotlight. Some are now drawing art of Nakamura and meme-ing about how “adorable” she is and how she should be “protected at all costs.” While much of the praise she’s received seems rooted in genuine admiration, some have argued that more extreme variations on these…
I’m gonna treasure this story and its memes like a unicorn, since women in the field of gaming are usually not treated this well on the Internet.
So “review bomb” is now just the de-facto excuse when developers don’t want to admit their mistakes? Cool.
“Artifact designer says it failed due to Cards-For-Money system”
Everyone prior to alpha: this system isn’t good and no one is gonna back it
Everyone between alpha and beta: this system still isn’t good and no one is gonna back it
Everyone between beta and the actual release: this system is terrible and we are not gonna…
So, like Slay the Spire? Or any number of other games where you can plunk down some cash and get the whole game?
The main sticking point with Artifact (which is expressed here, in my mind) is how much of a failure their model was, and they still refuse to acknowledge that it was an absolutely terrible model.
@Hot Take - Rome Was Bad
I usually stick it out to learn more about different deck strategies. I enjoy a really good loss. However, play more than one or two planeswalkers and I will quit even if I am not losing. They’re so annoyingly complicated and overpowered, it’s not even fun to play against.
Knowing when to concede is probably the 2nd most important skill in magic. The first being how to mulligan properly. If you play 2 hours every day and play out every game even if it is hopeless. You will probably end up wasting 2-3 hours every week which could earn you more wins. Time is money after all.
What hate is in that headline? As the article says, their is a massive sale on at Epic and could potentially get a ton of people get their accounts blocked if they buy a certain number of games. It’s better to warn people about that issue with reporting like this.
