Thank god, because Pokemon Go so needs more apologists.

The problem is that a) They had Ingress and a beta test, so they should have been able to at least plan for some more of this and had better stability and b) they charge for items that are real-time based, so if you use one and the game crashes, well you are out of luck.

The game experience itself is terrible. But since a lot of Pokemon Go lives outside of the actual app itself (the people you meet, the places you go), the experience itself can still be enjoyable.
