I don’t use evernote, but this is exactly why I don’t ever put those million dollar ideas on my phone. That new invention comes out and you’re like “hey! I came up with that idea!”, well now who’s to say the person who invented it didn’t do so because you let it slip somewhere.

I think the difference is in whether what you describe is a matter of “well if someone really wanted to they certainly could” vs “it is part of our normal operatingprocedure that our employess - as part of thier job description - will be, in fact, reading your personal content on a daily basis”.

So Tesla hired him when he was about 65 years old? If they fired him at 69, I don’t know how this can hold up as age discrimination by Tesla as a company. Not surprising. This is way more common than it should be and it’s especially bad at places that have a predominantly young workforce, like Tesla. It’s also incredibly difficult to prove so good luck.
