Yeah, that was a surprisingly sketchy choice

THAT'S IT! I knew there was someone else she reminded me of but I couldn't place it

I prefer the one at the Grammys (or whatever event) where Wendy Melvoin's dad introduces the band, if only for that awesome choreographed break in the middle with Prince, Wendy, and Brown Mark. after that, all hell breaks loose and EVERYONE comes onstage to dance

I was relieved when he didn't hit on any of the women and just wanted to watch Sam's movies and shoot the shit with everyone. What a good dude, he & Cherry are wonderful together.

there's a little bit of John Krasinski in him

Does anyone else get Kate McKinnon vibes from the actress playing Melrose?

"If you know what I'm singin about up here…" according to a lyric site I just pulled up

I wouldn't be even the least fucking bit surprised if he actually did this

35 minutes? Hell, even 35 seconds would be enough

yeah, and a "psychopath cop" ruined my marriage, burned my crops, and killed my dog. what excuse is he going to have for canceling his next tour?

I'd love to have the rest of my life without Trump. not just on AVClub but, like, anywhere. Especially the White House.

She's like Allison-meets-Helena-Bonham-Carter

I wouldn't go as far as to say she isn't gorgeous, but I can see how people who are attracted to women might not be attracted to her. different strokes, y'know

We'll just agree to disagree then. I do like the song, and I can't wait to hear what other sounds she explored on the album.

It sounds like a very stripped down version of something she'd do but still feels like it's missing something

can't think of anything that sounds less appealing than a biopic about a fuckin prick like Morrissey.

The weirdness is what makes her St. Vincent though, even if it was somewhat exaggerated on her last album. She has a great ear for melodies but always adds some sort of strange texture or element that helps her music stand out.

Not everyone is cut out for touring or the commitments that come with being a huge superstar musician. If she went through the motions and played a bunch of uninspired shows just to appease people, I'm sure you'd give her shit for that too.

Can you imagine how much better X-Files would be if Chris Carter just stayed the fuck away? As entertaining as the later seasons could be (sometimes for the wrong reasons), it's clear that he hasn't done anything good for the series in years. Just hand it over to a more diverse crew with fresher ideas and more respect
