AvClub is too cool to mention QOTSA this week, eh?

Considering she was 16-17 when she did the last album, I'm not surprised she has changed in the 4 years since then. Nothing wrong with developing a more "fuck it, why not?" attitude, within reason of course.

She could have told the police about Yuri & Meemo beating her which would have put some heat on them if they got caught acting suspicious in public, hence the DJ Qualls assassination attempt

Not only that, but Gloria's overdue success with the soap dispenser & faucet felt like a sign that she's finally gonna get somewhere with this case.

Capitalizing on the stupidity of others seems to work depressingly well for anyone willing to exploit such a strategy.

That would make a lot more sense than Winnie, I think. She seems pretty sketchy and the show hasn't revealed a lot about her from what I remember. Plus I like Winnie too much to deal with her being an undercover villain.

I know the show would never take it there, but I thought it'd be hilariously ironic if Winnie left her husband to be with Gloria

What if there's a TV playing Office Space in the background during a scene and we faintly hear Michael Bolton say "thumbs up their asses…"

No need to be an asshole, not everyone has time to scroll through all the goddamn comments.

That would be heartbreaking to watch.

I wouldn't call it filler in the sense that the writers couldn't think of anything better. If anything, it seems like the writers have a LOT to work with and spent more time than expected fleshing out a few specific characters when they could have been focusing more on moving the main plot along. But they'll get there

Glad someone else thought that Chuck was seeming very Walt-like tonight

(Spoiler-ish)

Initial thoughts: A 2nd spin-off of Breaking Bad featuring a side character that's already getting coverage in THIS spin-off seems a bit like overkill. But the truth is that I'd still watch the shit out of it anyway because Giancarlo rules.

As soon as it showed her driving and talking to herself after 2 minutes of being stressed about lateness, I knew something bad was coming. Thank god it wasn't fatal.

I feel like I've definitely passed by one of those stores at a mall before and made a BrBa joke, it's funny to see that they actually snuck that into this show.

I think people bitching about people who call out cultural appropriation need to understand that there's a major difference between being influenced by other cultures while still being respectful of them, and treating other cultures as a sort of trendy costume or phase that you can throw away when it's convenient for

I've been defending the slow pacing of this series so far because I love taking in everything that is happening on screen, whether it's a bit of action or just some great character exploration. Last night was no exception, but I feel like this show could benefit from longer seasons. I can't complain about having 2

It's not just the cultural appropriation thing, but the fact that she seems so eager to drop that whole 'ratchet white girl' image now in pursuit of seeming more 'pure and toned down'. She rode that wave until the controversy no longer served her monetarily and now she's settling back into her wholesome girl image so

It's almost like Katy Perry isn't genuinely passionate and is skating by on the bare minimum to cash in on the wave of young people who have a growing interest in social issues. Hmm, who would have guessed.
