An observation and opinion, much like all the other ones on this site. Nothing more. Nothing less. What you choose to infer is your business.

If localizers kept 100% true to the original text, they’d be translators and our scripts would be a lot less colorful and characters less memorable. They make hundreds of these invisible changes to scripts and, going on a limb here, and I’m gonna guess you probably never noticed or cared until it seemed vaguely…

As a fat person myself, I didn’t see the problem. I would read it as the Zora Queen being vain. And the Zora guards want the problem solved because the Queen wants the problem solved, and she’s the queen, so you do what she says (even if one of the guards thinks she looks better in her unaltered form)

People keep pushing this non-sense about VR/AR headsets being fashion items. If it’s useful and easy to use, what it looks like won’t matter much.
