Jezebel writers are totally arbitrary when it comes to celebrity feminism. They decide in advance who their “girl crushes” vs. “I don’t know hers” are, and judge all of their declarations of feminism through that pre-existing lens. For example, Taylor Swift is an “I don’t know her” so she’ll get dragged to hell even

Yeah, and you missed my point. There’s nothing “negative”-looking about any of the photos you posted. You used them to prop up YOUR definition of the “negative stereotype associated with feminists.”

uh, what about the part where she doesn’t want to be called the thing that you’re lauding her for defining

Did you see the Rebel Wilson post? First comment is that no one who harass her because she’s fat and ugly. The OP is doubling down that’s he’s entitled to his opinion (cause I’m sure we all care about his boner) and is even calling her “it”. It’s been starred multiple times. And he’s claiming to the director of a

“We’ve been the stronger sex all along, and men know it. That’s why they hate us so much.”

I’m just glad that this is published on Jezebel and not the AV Club - the comment section there is almost worse than Gizmodo by now, and that’s saying something.

GODDAMNIT!!! Gal Gadot has made a giant of herself with this. And don’t dare nobody to try to diminish her feat: no matter how well WW has performed at box office, Gadot isn’t yet the kind of powerhouse star who could pull a stand like that completelly free of worries, so she’s actaully putting herself in the line and

My dad refused and refuses to change a diaper. A diaper. Not a nuclear bomb.

That jumped out at me as well.

“as studios have been quick to distance themselves from the growing list of bad boys being outed in press reports”

Okay, when did the AV Club comment section turn into the Youtube comment section? Because I am not liking what I’m reading below. Things are usually more civilized here.

“I will no longer be POLITE. Interpret that as you will.”

Are you going to deal with all the trolls who harass her and the lawsuits she might get for naming names? Are you going to pay her for all the work she might lose as a result?

I figured that was a pretty big assumption so I did a search and, lo, in a 2014 radio interview:

I’m curious. At any point, was there a dim warning light going off in your skull saying, a) this is the most obvious, hackish, unfunny joke in the world, and b) accusing someone of being too ugly to harass is the fastest way to declare yourself human garbage?

It’s like ... I can almost hear millions of assholes everywhere furiously typing out the shittiest possible take on this story.

Please please please let this show come back and pick up where it left off, with the same cast and everything. It was a terrific show, with a great, woman-centered storyline. It’s ridiculous that it was cancelled.

He should’ve watched it. Part of business is knowing your product. It’s not like Amazon Studios has that much original programming that he didn’t have time to watch it. I don’t really expect that much from Amazon Studios in terms of original programming at this point. It seems like everything woman-centric gets

Someone needs to pick this up with the same cast and script. It was a refreshing, empowered story that needs to be told in completion.

This is SUCH great news - I loved this show so much. I will watch the crap out of it if it comes back.
