Dredd is THE SHIT but I can’t in good conscience write about it when The Raid is right there with the same plot but slightly better everything.

“I Saw the Devil” is so, so good. I get it’s not really an action movie, thus the passing mention in the article. But as a horrific thriller it is on par with “The Silence of the Lambs” (it’s much less humanistic cousin?).

I loved I Saw the Devil, but I remember thinking it made South Korea look so unpleasant that it must have secretly been made by North Korea to destroy Seoul’s tourist market.

Alright, I’ve been dying to bring this up here since I spent way too long researching this yesterday after my rewatch of the series.

You’ve already had your ass handed to you earlier for this out of context dogshit. Why would you come back for seconds?

Yeah, because context doesn’t matter! ::eyeroll::

“We could, obviously, destroy North Korea with our arsenals. But aside from the humanitarian costs of that, they are right next door to our vital ally, Republic of Korea . . . One of the things that we have been doing is spending a lot more time positioning our missile defence systems, so that even as we try to

Not angry at all. Just disappointed in a fellow American who apparently can’t see through the orange clown’s bluster. What you’re quoting is a simple statement of fact, but it was not delivered as a threat. It was not said to intimidate or threaten during a speech on a world stage delivered by an incompetent leader

Allow me to help you:

you missed the takeaway which was that the original script, as bad as it mayhave been, was NOT full of gay panic or racism. It was not an “offensive for the sake of being offensive” movie at all. It was black comedy, yes and had some offensive stuff, but nothing like the finished product. The 18 yr old me had better

Right. Because we can. It’s a fact. But they then immediately acknowledged the unacceptable humanitarian costs to both North and South Korea.

I’m no fan of either Clinton or Obama, but this is fucking false. Obama laughed at Kim Jong-un for getting upset about a stupid movie, for crying out loud.

“Did you say the same thing when Obama and Clinton both have said what Trump said?”

Source please.

They never said anything remotely as over the top idiotic as Trump and you know it. Neither has ever called for an entire country to be destroyed because of the megalomania of their leader. Obama and Clinton understand diplomacy, unlike the orange clown who is so used to people doing whatever he said because he paid

I hate this shit.

lets be honest: the real travesty and tragedy in reading this article is the fact that it makes me use the kinja site to do it. Oh, how I wish my story about my awful movie had been 6 mos ago on the old AV site....but I guess we can’t all get what we want all the time eh?

Yeah, this about sums it up. Great job Alex- I enjoyed this article about the trainwreck of this movie more than I enjoyed the movie. It is one of my bucket list wishes to be featured on AV CLub- albeit in a positive way, but, oh well, we take what we can get. Maybe one day I will return, to be proud of my write-up on

Hey this was a really well-done article! I’d be great to get more stories like this, although the vetting process would probably become a nightmare.

No, I was always like this.
