There are a few problems I have with Frieza in this tournament. He’s mostly been sidelined, only really doing anything against Dyspo and Toppo. The allusion of a subplot with Frieza, that was introduced near the beginning of the tournament hasn’t exactly been mentioned again.

Games that use the in-game engine for cutscenes could be modded to have 21:9 cutscenes. I think the issue with ffxv is that all the cutscenes are pre-rendered

This was one of 4 potential spoilers for the last episode that I read. This one seems like a longshot for 2 reasons. Jiren has only been blind sided once and that was by 17, probably due to the fact that he couldnt sense 17. Secondly frieza has done absolutey nothing to Jiren thus far despite being an opportunist.

You could do the custom resolution as someone else mentioned, but remember the field of view is also wider.

21:9 isn’t standard though and only recently has it been increasing in popularity. Most games are designed for 16:9 anyway. If you want to play most games in 21:9, there is no set it and forget it unfortunately.

This is the one thing I was hoping for and the one thing that impressed me most about the PC version. Only thing else I could wish for are proper 21:9 cutscenes, but I think the cutscenes are prerendered and not using the in game engine.

What’s wrong with waiting for a game? Even a month after release, you could get the game at a considerable discount. This happens because no one votes with their wallets. Gamers need to have self restraint and not buy everything as soon as it releases.
