I count myself fairly lucky that I could use the CForce dock with a ZMI Qb820 battery to use my switch on any display while im on the go. If you dont want to get an alternative dock, theres always moving the original innards of the dock into a considerably smaller enclosure

Gechic has models that run off of standard usb and require 5V. Could be powered by the switch itself (if docked) or a battery bank

Theres a $200 model thats fairly similar to this.

GEt something like a cforce dock. Theyre super tiny

@$200, it may be worth looking at GeChic portable monitors as well.

Netherealm is a specific case where I won’t support it until a definitive edition comes out. They up and left MKX halfway through their season pass. From what I remember, there were major issues with the PC version still and they ceased communication with the pc community for that time. PC didn’t get the character…

Also because with MKX, Netherealm was supporting it, then disappeared into thin air after a year or so after the games release. We didn’t get character pack 2 and didn’t get the new edition until a couple months to a year after they had released…

Seems like mobile BS is starting to trickle into mainstream gaming. This isn’t going to end unless people stop buying these games, which we know isn’t going to happen.

They already screwed pc gamers once. Theyre not getting my business again. Gamers should not be promoting bad practices, especially on PC. Too many devs and publishers continue to half ass their PC releases.

It’s a dick move that almost every Apple device already has USB-C, so why doesn’t their flagship phone have them. My assumption is profit margins.

Probably wont buy a console. Switch and PC handle 99% of my needs currently. Just wish Sega would’ve taken the time to actually patch Nier on PC (I’m still under the assumption that they didn’t). Next time I have some free time I might check out Nier with the mods.

Are you really surprised though? Doom is one of the most optimized, if not the most optimized game in recent memory. I’m not entirely surprised that with some tweaks the game is running on a mobile chipset.

I can’t though. No console to play it on, and I don’t believe the PC version ever got an update. Can’t support those habits unfortunately 

Few things to keep in mind with the $60 price, during the 8bit and 16bit era, the pricing was wildly all over the place, going as high as $90 bucks.

The $60 pricing is only in the US.

And the other thing that is never spoken of are the wildly out of control budgets for a lot of these games. We’ve already seen smaller…

This is what i’ve tried to explain to my friends and all theyve done is bat an eye at the issue, claim it doesn’t affect them, and continue buying the game anyway. None of this will change unless there is something so drastic that we get close to the crash from the 80s.
