If any of you guys do a follow up. I wouldnt mind sharing my story. I feel like NYC gamestops have a unique problem like many other retailers in NY because nothing is ever catered to the massive amount of people here.

As someone who worked at 3 diff stores and has worked retail an eternity, I could tell you that 99% of folks will never notice charges on their receipts. When I worked at Circuit City, I used to have a customer who would always swipe his card immediately after I scanned the last item, and I would ask him if he wanted

My perception of it being an enthusiast store changed when I started working there in 09. It’s always felt main stream as back then they never had anything that truly catered to the enthusiast and I left before they became an electronics store and introduced the COL. Most of the non store managers that work there are

No. I worked on the one in main st and the staff that was there when I left is still there. The store manager at the flushing one and the one in corona has a bad habit of adding power up rewards to people’s receipt who didn’t want it and than would tell them its non refundable. I dont know if he is still there, but I

There aren’t very many regional managers at gamestop. I think its about 5 or 6 tops. I know that when I was there the east coast RM only cared about sales and he would put on a giant smile and try and force people to buy shit. Nothing has changed. The higher ups are aware that it happens whether official or not. They

No. I used to work at 2 gamestops in brooklyn and one in queens as an assistant manager and the bulk of the shoppers we got there had no clue what they were buying and did not know they could get better deals elsewhere. Gamestop tries to capitalize on that.

As long as they allow people to move games onto the drive and not just external media.

When I worked there in 09 and 12 ( was an assistant manager at the time) i told the east coast regional manager, along with the district manager that they could stuff the shitty corporate policies they had then where the sun dont shine and handed in my keys. This was before rhe circle of life bs. Not surprised its

Its true. Hes reds antithesis

It was always advertised as a party game. The last one tried to make some stuff to cater to the competitive scene somewhat but its primary focus is still that of a party game.

People keep forgetting smash bros is a party game. If they want things their way, the could try making the project M equivalent of smash wii u

THis is why I refuse to play overwatch now unless I have a team of people I know personally.

No PC version? Wonder if NR is trying to avoid the shit storm that was MKX or if they’re just giving up on PC entirely.

I took a few of these from the event. Maybe its time I throw these onto ebay with my set of crystal pepsi lol

Realistically. When is the last time you’ve owned a Nintendo console as your primary console with MS and SONY in the picture? No one in their right mind buys a Nintendo system for non Nintendo games. That notion died with the N64.

Will never happen. People seem to forget about the giant amount of cash Nintendo is sitting on. Not only that, they liquidated whatever non gaming assets were losing them money like the Seattle baseball team last year. The likelihood of Nintendo sinking before MS or Sony is very low.

You can. They put in the arcade super turbo sprites and did pallette swaps for the evil ryu and violent ken sprites

I am pleasantly surprised with the switch after getting my hands on it. Wish the joycon has small hand grips when using them connected to the tablet. Also placement of the right analong stick was slightly weird as it was positioned really low.
