USB type C is already happening. Some motherboards shown at CES already support the standard. It will be a while before we see it in a lot of consumer devices because it seems like not all devices have yet moved their devices to USB 3.0, they may be waiting on type C to make the move. The standards are usually set by

Not talking about gaming on a phone. I just mean using a standardization of ports and storage. I cant recall the last phone (besides an apple phone) that didnt charge with a micro USB or a phone that allows for expandable storage that didnt use some form of SD.

Makes sense. Just wish there was some form of standardization across the board for handhelds and consoles.

I was expecting it, but not because of gaming trends, because of electronic trends in general (which is why I mentioned DSLR's). Everyone is competing for market share at the expense of profits. For something like gaming, it makes sense because people are making long term investments. There's always a possibility of

Other than the iPhone, Motorola phones, Nexus, and some budget phones, I cant think of any device that does not at least have an SD card slot.

Ahh the days of cartoon network post Toonami and during Toonami's prime. I thank cartoon network for Toonami. Were it not for Toonami, I would've missed out on some awesome anime like Outlaw Star.

The majority of phones, devices, and peripherals on the market utilize micro USB. Even Apple's phones will be required to use micro USB in a large part of europe in the coming years. The expandable memory is only an issue on the last batch of phones released, especially android phones (since kitkat doesnt natively

Name makes sense lol

Ive learned to expect it being a photography enthusiast, where most pro grade cameras drop hundreds of dollars before its first calender year (caught me by surprise the first time). This also happens with most electronics, where they drop in price right after CES or get entirely discontinued.

-_- sigh . . .

Lol Yeah I did

You know you pay a premium for early adaption. It happens with all electronics. This is how I felt when I bought my DSLR only to see the price plummet a few hundred bucks not even a year later.

They found their sweetspot. Good for them. If they drop it anymore, Nintendo's going to have rethink their pricing strategy with the Wii u.

I had the same issue. I rewatched Anamaniacs recently and I must say, its a completely different show than I remembered watching as a kid.

Sigh. Sony and Nintendo need to take cues from smartphone creators for their next handhelds design. Things need to be simpler to access and use the already set standards for charging, memory, etc.

Now I want my 90's cartoon fix.

Was this from the 80's? The intro feels very early 80's

If you want to watch something that went completely over your head. Rewatch Animaniacs and Freakazoid. Arguably the most clever cartoons ever written.

Id say most of the popular games werent all too stable to begin with and surprisingly a lot never were. Older games were just better at hiding it.As far as your wall of shame, I don't think we could ever hit longer than a week.

I wouldnt count them out yet. The success of Metal Gear Rising is the reason we have been getting a few Konami ports on steam. Hopefully these companies will get out of their decade old stigma and see that theres huge earning potential on PC
