I wouldnt exactly say thats true, at least in my experience. I've played plenty of games with less than 8 people or even single player where total mayhem is ensued. This may be because a few of us unintentionally break games often.

Been loving the runs this year. A really good selection of games and colorful commentary, but I was more impressed with the Kaizo Mario run after having tortured myself with it years ago. I could barely beat it with save states, let alone within 30 mins.

You guys should check out Lunar IPS (which i assume mario maker is based on). Its a powerful and simple tool for creating levels for super mario world.
