Not a 911 but I daily drive a 987.1 Cayman. I go grocery shopping for two with mine on occasion and it works fine. You can fit a lot in the frunk. I also have a trunk that fits quite a bit too. They’re great at dailying. Do it.

Some of the other stuff I can understand but what is so awesome about being able to flat spot tires? Sometimes I wonder if the people buying these cars were driving when they were new.

No one needs it but it sure is fun!

I’ll take your 981.

I usually only hear that coming from people that previously owned a bunch of fast cars. It’s just plain BS IMO. That’s coming from someone that spent the better part of his life driving slow cars. Sorry but when I finally moved into a fast car, it was WAY more fun.

If it’s a playtoy, get a used high mileage Cayman S that’s had all it’s maintenance done (clutch and flywheel, brakes, water pump, struts, tranny fluid). Low $20k range.

No they don’t.

It’s ok to be wrong.

We’ve learned a thing or two about aero since then.

I would daily drive this back into requiring another restoration.

Those Integra’s still look nice today IMO. One of these days I’m going to pick up a Type R before they get too expensive.

Automakers don’t “send” cars to dealers. Dealers PURCHASE cars from the automakers.

I agree. If they’re going to offer a manual, make it available on all trim levels. If it doesn’t sell or only sells in certain trims, then make changes based on that. Don’t kill it from the outset.

225 at the wheels?

You’re not crosshoping a brand new car with a used one.

(Full Disclosure: I’d buy the McLaren. Because McLaren.)

1LE Camaro was there. Or are you talking about last years competition?

A high percentage of sales in one or two areas does not mean good enough to keep them in production. Look I understand that Jalops think automakers are arbitrarily limiting or stopping manual sales but automakers are one of the few industries that actually caters (quickly) to their customers demands. And manual

Last I checked one STILL has to DRIVE an auto equipped car.

No because no one gives a shit about shifting other than a small number of enthusiasts.
