I’ve driven a PS car swapped to a manual rack and I thought it sucked (I owned the same car so I knew how it steered). It wasn’t a Miata though. Maybe that will be better.

Yes.

It’s pretty common to overheat the power steering fluid at the track. On topic, I prefer the steering in my wife’s 328i than in my Cayman. I don’t like EVERY aspect of the Bimmers steering but I absolutely love the directness and consistency. And there’s zero “dead” spots. Something I never noticed until I drove an

That’s because they didn’t bother to open the exhaust up when adding the turbo’s. I understand why they did this (Americans HATE HATE HATE noisy cars) but at least add a button that allows you to get that loud sound. My last car was a turbo Solstice. It was so friggin quiet from the factory that I had a 3" exhaust

Common knowledge from people that never owned a BMW for the most part.

Buttmad? LMFAO

Fuck! Does everything have to be a meme? LOL

I’m asking for graphs from now on.

Speed for money in a FACTORY car with warranty and such.

Because it’s the better car.

It’s a thing now.

This is the most LOL shit I’ve ever read!

I’ll allow this.

I’m not so sure that Porsche is in the same douche category as BMW. I get a LOT of love from strangers about my car. Totally opposite of what I expected.

Those days are LONG gone. You’re late by about 10 years.

LMAO

I’m on my 2nd BMW but they were/are leases so no issues (both N20's). My relative had two, a E46 325i and an E60 528i. The E46 he had for about 10 years no issues. The E60 he had for 6 years no issues. My BIL had a used E60 535i for only 3 years but no issues. Anecdotal for sure but no more than your article.

LMAO

I’ve got 80k on my DD, 250 miles per week, 08 Cayman S. Keep driving it. Only 5-8% of the 986 Boxster/996 911's had or are prone to IMS failure. 987's and 997's are WAY less than that. BTW, there is no aftermarket IMS bearing replacement for 987's.
